This notice explains how Sell the Trip handles information submitted through the pre-launch website and, when an invitation is enabled, the private customer platform.
Information we collect
When you join the early-access list, we collect your work email, the type of travel business you run, and any company name or website you choose to provide. We also record when you consented, the page and referral source for the signup, and campaign tags included in the link, such as UTM source or campaign.
Standard hosting logs and Google Analytics may record technical and usage information such as your IP address, approximate location, browser, device type, pages visited, referral source, and interactions with the site. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers to distinguish visits. Cloudflare Turnstile and Supabase Auth process technical information to check for automated abuse, send the verification email, and confirm the address. The early-access signup database does not store your raw IP address.
In the private customer platform, we may collect your account and travel business details; the pages, text, DOCX or PDF files you choose to supply; confirmed offer facts and evidence; campaign settings, drafts, edits and exports; and limited operational events such as whether a campaign was created or exported. Product-usage events are designed not to contain customer copy, documents, email addresses, phone numbers or model prompts.
How we use it
We use your information to manage the early-access list, understand which travel businesses are interested, send the verification link and early-access invitation you requested, understand how people find and use the site, measure which campaigns introduce people to it, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Customer source material is used to extract the facts you review and to generate the campaign you request. Confirmed facts, selected channels, dates, destinations and voice settings are used to create, validate, schedule, edit and export campaign drafts. Generated content requires a factual check and nothing is published automatically.
AI processing
The customer platform is designed to send the source content and confirmed facts needed for extraction or generation to the paid Gemini API operated by Google. The API credential stays on the server. We do not enable optional API-log sharing for model improvement. Google describes how paid API prompts, files and responses are processed in its Gemini API terms and privacy policy. Do not upload information that is not needed to build the campaign.
Service providers
We use Hostinger to host the website and send verification emails, Supabase to authenticate and store early-access registrations, and Cloudflare Turnstile to identify automated submissions, and Google Analytics to understand website traffic and interactions. The customer platform uses Supabase for private storage, authentication and application data, and the paid Gemini API for extraction and campaign generation. These providers receive the information needed to provide their service and handle it under their own terms and privacy commitments. You can read more about how Google handles Analytics information in its privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep early-access information while the list is active and for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. Authentication and security logs follow the retention settings of the providers listed above.
Raw customer source files and pasted source text can be deleted immediately and are scheduled for automatic deletion after 30 days. Confirmed facts and campaign content remain available until the related campaign is deleted. A minimal source record may remain to document that deletion and operate the service safely. Provider safety and operational logs, including Google Analytics data, follow the applicable provider settings and terms.
Your choices
You can limit or clear analytics cookies using your browser controls. You can also ask to access, correct, or delete information you have provided, leave the early-access list, or delete customer source material from the platform when that access is enabled. You may email hello@sellthetrip.com with a privacy request.
